Then the Career and Technical Education program just might be what you are looking for!

The Career and Technical Education program prepares students to teach high school business, family and consumer sciences, and industrial technology students. When you graduate from the program, you will receive a B.S. in Career and Technical Education (with teacher certification) and will also meet the requirements for initial teacher certification in Illinois , after passing all certification exams. If you think you might enjoy teaching students in the middle grades, you can take a few extra courses to also receive this endorsement.
