Financial Aid
To determine eligibility for state or federal financial assistance, students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for consideration. FAFSA forms are available in the Office of Financial Aid and online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Potential sources of aid includes grants, loans, federal work-study, short-term (emergency) loans, veteran's benefits, state of Illinois programs, or the Army ROTC.

Scholarships and Awards
The COS Program is committed to providing scholarships and awards to recognize academic excellence and to make the COS Program affordable for working adults. The Felstehausen-Boldrey Excellence Scholarship and the Career & Organizational Studies Student Excellence Award are the two awards available.
Felstehausen-Boldrey Excellence Scholarship
The Felstehausen-Boldrey Fund was established to strengthen and support the Career and Organizational Studies Program at Eastern Illinois University in the following three areas: Student Awards, COS Faculty Development, and Program Development. In order to request funding, please write a brief proposal related to one of those areas. The criteria for each area are listed below.
Eligibility: Current COS student, who has completed 75 total semester hours, 6 hours of which are COS courses, & a 3.0 GPA.
Availability: Number of recipients vary. Awarded two times per year.

Career & Organizational Studies Student Excellence Award
The Career and Organizational Studies Student Excellence Award is presented annually to a Career and Organizational Studies student demonstrating excellence in academics, leadership in learning settings, and a desire to continuously learn and grow. The recipient receives a cash award and a plaque made available by the Career and Organizational Studies alumni at an awards ceremony held each Spring on EIU's campus.
