Bruce Barnard

Mr. Barnard received a Master of Science degree in Technology, has a graduate certificate in Work Performance Improvement and a Bachelor of Science degree in Career and Organizational Studies from Eastern Illinois University.
He has over 30 years administrative and program development experience working in addictions, mental health, homelessness, and community corrections. Mr. Barnard previously served as the Director of Adult Recovery Services at the Mental Health Center of Champaign County and Associate Director for Champaign and Ford Counties at Prairie Center Health Systems. He presently works with organizations as a consultant focusing on strategic planning, organization development, performance improvement, and training systems.

Dr. Thomas R. Hawkins

Dr. Thomas R. Hawkins completed his doctoral program in educational and organizational leadership at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has completed Master of Arts degree programs at Harvard University and Indiana University and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University. Dr. Hawkins is a certified facilitator for the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI), LIFO, and is certified in E-Learning by the American Society for Training and Development. In 2003 he completed the certification program of the Coaches Training Institute (CTI). He has also participated in CTI's Leadership program.
Dr. Hawkins has over 30 years of experience as an educator, trainer, and consultant. He is the author of 18 books and several articles in the area of adult learning, leadership, group facilitation, and spirituality. He has worked with a wide range of organizations including the United Way of Effingham County, Mental Heath Center of Champaign County, the Sexual Assault Counseling and Information Service, the Indianapolis Center for Congregations, Tarble Arts Center, the Columbia University Teacher's College AEGIS program, and the Illinois Municipal Treasurers' Institute.

Dr. R. Lance Hogan
|
|
Dr. Hogan is an Assistant Professor in the Lumpkin College of Business & Applied Sciences School of Technology at Eastern Illinois University. Hogan holds a PhD from Southern Illinois University, a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration specializing in Production/Operations Management from Southeast Missouri State University.
Dr. Hogan has supplemented his educational development with work experience in support of companies including Federal Mogul (Production Supervisor), MOCAP, Inc. (Production Manager), DMS, Inc. (Operations Manager), and most recently as a Senior Manager for Return on Training Consulting Group. Lance has experience in the implementation of ISO/QS 9000 and has a strong background in quality management principles with an emphasis in human resource development. Research interests include topics such as: training and development, quality management, improvements through human performance, training transfer, self-directed teams, and ISO/QS 9000.

Dr. Luke Steinke
|

Dr. Steinke earned his PhD in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, an Master's degree in Training, Development, and Performance Improvement and B.S. in Industrial Technology from Northern Michigan University, and an A.A.S. in Graphic Communications for Moraine Park Technical College.
In addition to working in higher education, Dr. Steinke has also worked in the print production industry, as well a performance improvement and education consultant. Consultant experiences include conducting training needs assessments, developing and implementing performance solutions (training and non-training), development of curriculum, delivery of training programs, and the development of assessments and evaluations for a variety of industries.

Dr. Deborah Woodley
|
|
Dr. Woodley is a professor in the Lumpkin College of Business & Applied Sciences School of Technology at Eastern Illinois University. Woodley received her PhD from the University of Illinois, a Master of Science degree in Technology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Eastern Illinois University.
She has work experience with World Color Press and R. R. Donnelly as well as the American Legion and American Legion Auxillary. Dr. Woodley started her career at Eastern in 1986 as a communication graphics instructor with the Industrial Technology Department and also taught courses in organizational leadership and employee development until 2000 when she was appointed coordinator of the Career and Organizational Studies Program. Dr. Woodley served in that capacity until fall of 2005 when she was appointed Assistant Chair in the School of Technology.

Diana Wyatt

|
Diana Wyatt is an Assistant Professor in the Lumpkin College of Business & Applied Sciences School of Technology at Eastern Illinois University. She is completing a PhD program at Capella University, majoring in Education with a Certificate of Online Instruction. Wyatt is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a Masters of Science degree in Technology and B.S. in Career and Organizational Studies. In addition, she holds a Global Career Development Facilitator Instructor Certification.
Diana has over 25 years in education including positions as a college administrator, a career counselor, business instructor, and trainer. Her passion lies in individual, career, professional and workforce development. Wyatt is an advocate for the development of career and professional portfolios and promotes all manners of professional development activities.
