EIU Student Affairs

Welcome to EIU's Student Affairs website! I am so pleased you are taking the time to investigate and gather information about our division. Student Affairs prides itself on giving individual attention to our students. Our goal in Student Affairs is to provide an environment for students that is caring and supportive of the instructional mission of the university.

Fourteen departments comprise the Division of Student Affairs. Each department strives to offer quality services to Eastern Illinois University students.

Renovating Student Affairs facilities is a high commitment. Particularly noteworthy is the completion and opening of the new Human Services Center which houses the following Student Affairs Departments: Career Services, Counseling Center and Health Services. During school breaks, our residential halls are being renovated including new moveable furniture. Our new food court combined with our renovated University Union has created a student center that is now a popular high traffic area for students. We also have a state-of-the-art Campus Recreation Center filled with a variety of new exercise equipment.
