Current Position and Responsibilities

Director of Fraternity & Sorority Programs The Director of Fraternity and Sorority Programs partners with a talented team of graduate and undergraduate students to support all aspects of fraternity and sorority life at Eastern. The director collaborates with many other areas of the Eastern community and beyond to help foster a positive experience for those involved with the department. The director also serves as administrator for more than 25 fraternal organizations governed by the Interfraternity, Panhellenic, and National Pan-Hellenic Councils. Responsible for the coordination and supervision of eleven staff members consisting of 6 graduate assistants, 4 undergraduate Peer Advisors and one office assistant, the director also maintains relationships with Inter/national fraternity and sorority headquarters, alumni/housing corporations, and the University’s Housing and Dining Services. The Director of Fraternity and Sorority Programs advises the student members in developing new academic, recruitment, standards and service programs to help further the improvements of their governing councils, their local fraternity or sorority chapter operations and the development of individual members.
