Current Position and Responsibilities

Director of Greek Life The Director of Greek Life serves as administrator for twenty-five Greek letter organizations governed by the Interfraternity, Panhellenic, and National Pan-Hellenic Councils.  The director is responsible for the coordination and supervision of eleven Greek Life staff members consisting of 6 graduate assistants, 4 undergraduate Peer Advisors and one office assistant including their training, evaluation, and advising assignments.  Relationships are maintained with Inter/national fraternity and sorority headquarters, alumni/housing corporations, and the University’s Housing and Dining Services.  The Director of Greek Life advises the Greek students in developing new academic, recruitment, standards and service programs to help further the improvements of their governing councils, their local fraternity or sorority chapter operations and the development of their individual members.  The Director of Greek Life also teaches the STL-3000 Student Leadership Course offered at Eastern Illinois University.
