The Chief of Police represents the University Police Department in matters involving local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, coordinates public relations issues, and assumes direct command in crisis situations. The Chief provides overall leadership and direction to a service-oriented department which also includes a Parking Division. The Chief of Police reports directly to the Vice President for Student Affairs.

Previous Experience in Higher Education:

Chief Due served as an intern with the University Police in 1986, left to serve as a deputy sheriff until returning to the University Police Department on January 23, 1989.
