Eric Wilber

Job Title: Executive Vice President

Vice President Wilber is the Student Body Executive Vice President and Student Trustee. He is pursuing degrees in political science and philosophy, and plans to attend law school following graduation from EIU. Mr. Wilber is an intern for State Representative Chapin Rose, and has served as the student representative to the Charleston City Council and Home Rule Ad-Hoc Committee. He is the Chair of Student Action Team, is Eastern's Voting Delegate to the Illinois Board of Higher Education-Student Advisory Committee, and has served in various capacities on the Apportionment Board, Student Action Team, and Student Senate External Relations and Tuition & Fee Review Committees.

Outside of Student Government, he is a member of the EIU College Democrats, Association of Honors Students, and Scholastic Bowl Club. He is also the Outside Guard for the Knights of Columbus Council #8713, and is a Presidential Scholar. Mr. Wilber is also a Deputy Registrar for voter registration, and serves as an Election Judge in Coles County

He plans to spend his term as Executive Vice President rebuilding Student Action Team and increasing voter registration and turnout on campus.
