The site was designed by Internet Consulting Services based in Syracuse, New York, a company that currently provides internet services for more than 100 colleges and universities. Included in that group are Syracuse University, Drexel University and Eastern Michigan among the companies NCAA Division I clients. While the site officially launched on Monday afternoon, some portions of the site are still under construction and will be completed in the next couple of days. Fans are encouraged to visit the site and send any feedback. Stories from the 2006-07 school year will still be housed on the old site which was hosted by the university. Access to those sport specific pages can be gained on the new site's sport pages. Once the 2007-08 athletic season starts, the site will include several interactive features including weekly video interviews and features in the Panther Pulse section, Live Real Time Statistics for many of EIU’s home games and an Athlete of the Month feature just to name a few.
