This Charleston Soccer League Rules of the Game reviews the
17 playing rules of the game for recreational soccer in the fall Charleston
youth soccer program. Demonstrations of offside and a variety of penalties
are provided bymembers of the EIU Panther Soccer team. Proper player equipment,
CSL field dimensions, and other rules of the game are presented in some
detail to permit coaches, players, parents, and other spectators to better
understand the sport of soccer.

strategies of the game of soccer. Using the NASL (a 1960-1985 professional
US soccer league) as the

at both the administrative and playing rules of the fall youth soccer program.

easy player and parent contact. CSL coaches have a copy of the Rules of
the Game, but
players, parents, and other interested parties can purchase these rule booklets
by mail
or at C & D Triple-Play Sports, now located on East Lincoln Avenue in
Charleston, across
from the Phillips 66 Service Station.
