Dr. Gene Deerman
Dr. M. Eugenia Deerman (Ph.D., University of Michigan) has research interests in social movements and political storytelling. Through historical and archival research, she has studied the role of narrative in the politics of the Christian Right, the New Right, and the back-to-the-land movement. Her current research explores the role of think tanks in the American conservative movement. She teaches courses in social psychology and social movements.
