Ms. Kathy Blank

Ms. Kathy Blank received both Bachelor's (Sociology) and Master's (Family & Consumer Sciences) degrees from Eastern Illinois University. Ms. Blank has long been involved in the Social Science field, early on in her career working in family focus issues with the Regoinal Office of Education, and coordinating programming to benefit school-age children. Until recently, she was an adjunct instructor for both Lake Land Community College, as well as Eastern. She joined the ranks of instructor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology in Spring 2007, and continues in the role currently. Ms. Blank has been a resident of the Charleston area since coming to EIU as a student, and will celebrate her 30th wedding anniversary in 2008 with husband, Gail, who retired in 2006 from EIU's Information Technology System. Together, they have three children, Camille, Erin, and Brent.
