Mrs. Tina Best

Mrs. Tina Best, LCSW, (M.S.W., University of Illinois) is an instructor of Sociology, with substantive expertise in Social Work. She is a licensed clinical social worker and is certified in secondary education, student services/school social work, supervision and educational administration. Mrs. Best is a practicing school social worker and a certified trainer of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, a crisis prevention and management program developed by Cornell University. She has taught Sociology 3600: Introduction to Social Work for the Department of Sociology and Anthropology since 1988.
