Each fall, Eastern hosts its annual Family Weekend Celebration. The event is sponsored by various offices and departments on campus. Both the Student Life Office and University Board take part in sponsoring festivities. These groups work hard each year to ensure that Family Weekend is fun for all who attend.
There are a variety of activities for families to enjoy while on campus. University Board sponsors live entertainment such as a comedian, hypnotist, or magician on Friday night along with highly competitive bingo. Saturday brings another fun-filled day of events such as the football game, tailgating and the annual concert. Family Weekend 2011's featured pconcert will be "An Evening with CHICAGO".
