Graduate SED Courses
Courses numbered 5000-5499 inclusive may be taken by a senior whose grade point average is 2.75 or higher, with permission of the instructor and the Dean of the Graduate School. Courses numbered 5500 and above are open only to students who have been admitted to the Graduate School.
- 5750. Special Problems in Gerontology. (Arr.-Arr.-1) A study of problems of the elderly with variable course content. Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor. May be repeated for a maximum of three semester hours.
- 5950. Thesis. (Arr.-Arr.-3 to 6) (Credit/No Credit) A maximum of nine semester hours may be earned in combination of 5950 and 5990.
- 5990. Independent Study. (Arr.-Arr.-1-6) Intended to permit a student to pursue more intensively various aspects of his/her special interest. Prerequisite: Permission of the department chair.
