John and Katharine England Currey Scholarship Fund

Description:  Established in 2004, this scholarship awards a full-time marketing major student who has been accepted to Eastern Illinois University. The recipient(s) must have an overall GPA of 3.0 unless he/she can demonstrate that she/he is employed over 32 hours per week, then the recipient(s) may have an overall GPA of 2.5. The recipient(s) must submit a one-page written statement demonstrating aptitude and promise to succeed in sales and a determination to succeed in future career goals. The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for, and receive, the scholarship again provided she/he continues to meet the criteria stated above.
