Description: At the time of selection, the recipient(s) must be a part-time or full-time student, accepted to Eastern Illinois University. The recipient(s) must be majoring in Music Performance-Jazz Studies and whose primary instrument is string, wind, percussion, or keyboard. If there are no suitable candidates in Music Performance-Jazz Studies then the scholarship may be awarded to a recipient(s) majoring in Music Performance-Composition. If there are no suitable candidates in Music Performance-Composition, then the scholarship may be awarded to a recipient(s) majoring in Music with Teacher Certification-Instrumental.The recipient(s) must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 in the Music major.
