Alice Groff Pennybacker Secondary Education Scholarship

Description:  The recipient must be a full time student, seeking certification in Secondary Education, accepted to Eastern Illinois University. The recipient must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or better. Preference shall be given to students who graduated from high schools in Lawrence County. The recipient must be planning to become a teacher. If all else is equal, recipient selection will be determined by financial need. The recipient shall be eligible to apply for, and receive, the award again provided she/he continues to meet the criteria stated above. The award shall be issued in the Fall Semester.
