Marilyn Snearley Memorial Scholarship

Description:  The scholarship will be awarded to a student with a declared major in Music Education. The award recipient shall be chosen from junior class level students who are enrolled in the Music Education program with the intent of pursuing a career in Music Education. Preference shall be given to students who are pursuing Vocal/Choral or Music Education Certification for teaching at the Jr. or Sr. High School level. The award recipient shall have completed at least 30 credit hours of college level coursework at Eastern Illinois University with an overall GPA of 3.0. Financial need should not be a consideration.
