Moler-Austin Scholarship
Description: The scholarship shall be awarded to a declared major in Secondary Education who has attained at least the sophomore grade level, with preference for students concentrating in English. The selection committee shall give a preference to a scholarship award applicant who has graduated from a high school in Coles County, Illinois. The selection committee shall also give a preference to an applicant who has an overall grade point average at the college level of 3.0 or higher. Secondary preference shall be given to a high school graduate of the surrounding counties of Clark, Cumberland, Douglas, and Edgar. Each recipient shall be eligible to apply for and receive a scholarship award renewal provided she/he continues to meet the appropriate criteria. The award shall be issued in the Fall Semester. Applications will become available beginning on January 7, 2013.
