Isabel McKinney Graduate Scholarship
Description: The scholarship recipient shall be a graduate student in the field of English. The recipient must secure nominations for the annual award from members of the English Department faculty, or by direct application to the said Scholarship Committee. The recipient must be able to show evidence that he/she will be able to meet the qualifications for enrolling at EIU as a graduate student. The recipient must have been in the upper 1/4 of his/her graduating class for the Bachelors Degree. The recipient must author a written paper, the subject being either of creative writing, literary, or historical criticism. Financial need is a consideration.
