Dorothe L. Johnson Memorial Scholarship
Description: The recipient(s) must be a full time student, majoring in Leisure Studies, accepted to Eastern Illinois University. The recipient must have an overall GPA of 2.5. The recipient(s) must display a need for financial aid. The recipient must have demonstrated an interest in camping such as involvement with the American Camping Association and/or camps. Recipient(s) shall be eligible to apply for, and receive, the award one additional time provided she/he continues to be enrolled full time in a Leisure Studies major, continues to demonstrate financial need, has maintained a cumulative GPA of 2.5, and continues interest in camping since first receiving the award. The award shall be announced each Spring Semester at an appropriate time and determined by the selection committee. The award shall be issued in the Spring Semester.
