Elisha Baumgartner Scholarship
Description: The award shall be made to four full-time students of the following departments: Economics, History, Political Science or Sociology. The recipient shall be a sophomore with a "C" cumulative grade point average (2.0 on a 4.0 scale). The recipient shall be able to demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office at Eastern Illinois University. Recipient shall remain eligible to receive the award in subsequent years provided he or she maintains a "C" average. The award shall be paid in equal installments for each of the terms in the regular academic year following confirmation that the student is officially enrolled and in attendance in the classes in each term. This scholarship is announced in the Spring, and paid 1/2 in both the Fall and Spring semesters of the following year.
