Basic Skills Test is required for Selection to Teacher Education Programs, the Content
Area/Subject Matter Knowledge Test is required prior to Student Teaching, and
the Assessment of Professional Teaching Test is required in order to receive a
teaching certificate.Consult your
advisor relative to when you should take these tests.

Evaluation Systems.Registration
materials may be picked up in the Dean’s Office, College of Education &
Professional Studies or at your local Regional Office of Education or viewed
over the internet at www.icts.nesinc.com .This test is offered at numerous sites
across the State.
