University Metrics
The Metrics Web page includes data regarding University priorities and dashboard metrics to provide quantitative information about the university. Listed below are several of those priorities and metrics. Although we use quantitative measures to assess progress towards measurable goals, and some quantitative measures are proxies for quality, we do not substitute these measures for quality measures. The quality of our programs rests on the excellent teaching, research, and service of the faculty and staff of Eastern Illinois University, who are dedicated to our historical values of Excellence, Accessibility, Personal Relationships, and Service. The quality of our programs: academic programs, student programs, business services and others, is assessed by other means.
To view the quantitative data, click on one of the priorities or metrics. A list of measures will appear below the priority/metric. Click on one of the measures and a chart will appear which includes the data supporting the measure. For those measures that have a goal, a red horizontal line shows on the chart to reference the goal.
We invite comments and questions. Please send your questions and comments to univplan@eiu.edu.
