Nursing Programs at EIU

Nursing is personally satisfying, financially rewarding, and in demand across the country. The following should help you make some important choices that will affect your college career. Note: If you are planning to take courses at a local community college, contact the Evaluator's Office (Room 1150, Old Main, 217-581-5942) regarding course transfer.

Students starting their nursing career at EIU have have two options:

Traditional "2+2" Program

Lakeview College of Nursing and EIU Cooperative Nursing Program

EIU also has a RN to BSN Completion Program for nurses with an associate degree seeking a 4 yr BSN degree
