Cooperative Nursing Program
Lakeview College of
Nursing (LCN) and Eastern Illinois University (EIU) have established a
cooperative degree program for pre-nursing students enrolled at EIU
beginning Fall semester 2000. As part of the agreement, EIU will provide
general education/pre-nursing courses and advisement for pre-nursing
students on Eastern’s campus. Following completion of their general
education courses, pre-nursing students then enter the nursing program
offered by LCN at EIU.
Those students who choose
to earn their bachelor of nursing (B.S.N.) degree from LCN will have the
convenience of having their professional nursing courses delivered (either
by distance learning or on-site instructors) to the EIU campus.
