Dr. Mueller (Ph.D. Rochester) teaches courses on the presidency, interest groups, environmental politics, Congress and American government. Her research interests include voting behavior and public opinion, women and politics and public policy. Her publications include a chapter in Managing Environmental Policy and Engaging the Public: How the Government and Media Can Reinvigorate American Democracy and two interest group profiles in the Encyclopedia of American Interest Groups. She is one of the Department's Undergraduate Academic Advisors.
