Dr. Poole (Ph.D. Kent State)
teaches courses in political behavior, the presidency, gender politics
and American government. She conducts research on women and politics,
the effect of age on political behavior and the politics of comparable
worth. Her publications include chapters in U.S. Women's Groups:
Institutional Profiles and Engaging the Public: How the Government
and Media Can Reinvigorate American Democracy. She is the Department's
Honors Program Coordinator and the Director of Undergraduate Academic
Advisement.
