Professor Lee specializes in East Asian philosophy and religion, and the philosophy of Spinoza. She received her B.A. in English and M.A. in Linguistics from Ewha University, South Korea, and an M.A. and PhD in Philosophy from Temple University.  Her publications include "Spirit and Beauty" (Journal of Aesthetic Education, vol. 31: no. 3, Fall 1997) and "A Comparative Study of the Taoist and Spinoza on Three Ethical Issues," (Dialogue and Universalism, Vol. VIII: No. 11-12, 1998). Her current work focuses on ways of putting Eastern Philosophy - particularly Buddhism and Taosim - into practice.
