About Phi Gamma Nu

Phi Gamma Nu was founded in 1924 to do several things.  Its main objective is to foster the study of business in colleges and universities.  By bringing in professional guest speakers and setting up tours, Phi Gamma Nu members can begin to get a feel for their future professions.

Phi Gamma Nu's other objective is to bring a sense of unity to its members.  This unity is created through membership involvement, volunteer projects, social activities and friendships that are made.

Phi Gamma Nu does more than just improve the resume; it also improves the person as well.  Upon graduating not every student will remember everything that he or she did in college, but they will remember being a part of Phi Gamma Nu.

Phi Gamma Nu is only as good as its members.  Each year Phi Gamma Nu holds a Fall and Spring Rush to find new people interested in joining the fraternity.  Potential members must hold certain characteristics to be considered for the fraternity.  These characteristics are personal drive, the willingness to learn and the willingness to help others.  The academic requirements for Phi Gamma Nu are a declaration of business as major, freshman class standing and a 2.0 Grade Point Average.

If you are interested in more information about becoming a member of Phi Gamma Nu please contact our Vice President of Rush, Jeff Dreznes.  Jeff will answer any questions that you have regarding the Rush and Pledging process.
