To All Registered Student Organizations:
My name is Cole Rogers and I would like to take this time to introduce myself to all the Registered Student Organizations as your new Vice President of Student Affairs for Student Government. I am very proud to announce that we have the ball rolling on our first big event of the year, Pantherpalooza 2006! For those of you that have not heard of Pantherpalooza, this is a one day festival where all Registered Student Organizations have a chance to set up a table and recruit new members and market their organization.
This year Pantherpalooza is offering free food, prizes, and games which we are hoping will help produce a record turn-out. Pantherpalooza is going to be held on Wednesday, September 13th from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the South Quad. An expansive website is available for Pantherpalooza where you can register your student organization, find out dates and times, and background information. The deadline to register is September 5th. I ask that your organization display table be completely set-up by 11:30 a.m. On the day of the event, bring promotional materials to distribute containing information regarding your organization; in addition, I would like to request that your organization provides Pantherpalooza with a trivia question that is unique to your organization so that I can make Pantherpalooza 2006 more interactive for the students.
