EIU Debut Leader/Tour Guide (DL/TG) position serves a multi-purpose role on campus. Serving as official univeristy hosts, Debut Leaders have the opportunity to provide campus tours during the spring, summer, and fall semesters as well as tours for special events and outside groups.

Facilitating Debut transfer and freshman programs is also an essential duty. Facilitation of these programs include: small group sessions, assisting with the Academic Advisement process, performing theatrical presentations, assisting with with check-in and registration functions of the program.

Lastly, team members serve as Head Panther Pals organizing and promoting Move-In Madness and Panther Preview Week. Individuals selected for this position play a key role in the recruitment and orientation process for nearly 3,000 new students and their families.
