Mission Statement
The mission of the Panther Ambassador Club (PAC) is to provide personalized interaction focused on the enrichment of student growth through service to the institution.
Purpose
The Panther Ambassadors devote their time to support the university's mission, goals and activities in coordination with the New Student Programs office. Ambassadors assist with campus tours, public events, presentation meetings, and special occasions for the purpose of advancing student visibility in regards to the interests of the university.
The Panther Ambassadors are highly motivated student leaders who serve as the face of the Eastern student body at numerous high profile campus events. They provide personal interaction with the EIU community and friends of the university. The Ambassadors make appearances at various campus events. Through service to the institution, the Panther Ambassadors provide personalized interaction to the Eastern community which allows them to build valuable relationships with faculty, administrators, trustees, and friends of the university.
Ambassadors are staples at various events such as Open Houses, Homecoming, President’s Box at athletic events, and Commencement. Ambassadors also host prospective students, participate in the Coles County Panther Patrol, and help facilitate other important special events on campus.
