This agreement outlines the responsibilities and expectations of the position. (Any deviation from this agreement must be approved in advance by New Student Programs.)

Purpose of this position:
Panther Pals serve as a liaison between the University and new students and their families during Move-In Day. Panther Pals provide a valuable service to new students and their families, and are held to a high standard of customer service.

Responsibilities of Panther Pals:
*Panther Pals are required to work from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Move-In, Thursday, August 15, 2013.
*Panther Pals must attend the training meeting on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at 2:00pm in the Grand Ballroom in the Martin Luther King, Jr. University Union.
*Panther Pals must practice quality customer service and present themselves as a positive agent of the University at all times.
*Panther Pals must always practice punctuality.
*Panther Pals must wear appropriate attire during the program. Appropriate attire consists of the Official Panther Pal shirt, shorts or long pants, sturdy shoes (we suggest tennis shoes). Individuals may wear Recognized Student Organization hats or visors.

Expectation of Panther Pals:
*Assist in facilitation of residence hall move-in at assigned hall. This would include, but is not limited to, traffic control, physically helping to transport new student belongings to rooms, operating elevators and other duties as needed.
*Fulfill the role assigned by your Prowl Leader Team or Housing Staff.
*Serve as a resource for new students and their families.
*Help promote Prowl programs and events.
*Respect co-workers and supervisors.

Compensation:
*All Panther Pals will be provided a free T-shirt and three meals (Thursday breakfast, lunch and dinner).
*Panther Pals can pick up textbooks beginning Wednesday, August 14 at 10:00am.
*Panther Pals may move into their respective on-campus residence (for no additional charge) on Tuesday, August 13 between 1:00pm and 4:00pm or Wednesday, August 14 from 9am to noon.
