Orientation, Advisement and Registration Program

All incoming students (freshmen and transfers) are required to attend an Orientation, Advisement and Registration program. This program will aid students in navigating through various activities that need to be accomplished prior to the beginning of their first semester. Students will meet with advisers, create their schedules for the coming semester, get their Panther Card, and much more!

Each program is tailored specifically for the student populations specific needs. For more information on a specific program, click on the following links:

Freshmen: The program for freshmen admitted under "traditional" EIU admissions standards.

Transfer: The program designed for students transferring from other institutions.

Gateway: This program is specially crafted for those admitted into EIU's Gateway program.
