Jeremy earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Houston and his Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  He recently completed his Doctor of Musical Arts in Trumpet Performance and Literature at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  Prior to joining the faculty at EIU, Jeremy held the positions of operations manager with the South Bend Symphony and admissions recruiter for the Eastman School of Music and Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music.  Jeremy enjoys freshwater fishing, biking with his wife and sons, as well as his newfound hobby of home brewing.
