EIU Honor Choir Festival Singers
(for all schools in IMEA District V)
The EIU Choral Ensembles are proud to announce the 2010 EIU Honor Choir Festival Singers. This event will take place on Thursday, February 11 and Sunday, February 14, 2010. The Honor Choir will perform Sunday afternoon as part of Eastern’s Songs of Love Concert in the new Doudna Fine Arts Center (http://www.eiu.edu/doudna/) under the direction of Dr. Richard R. Rossi, Director of Choral and Orchestral Activities. In addition to the Honor Choir preparing their selections, they will also have the opportunity to perform with the Eastern Illinois University Concert Choir accompanied by members of the EIU faculty and the Eastern Symphony Orchestra.
CPDU for the Directors will be made available through the EIU College of Education.
The deadline to submit the application and $25.00 application fee per student is December 15, 2009. Both the invitation letter, which outlines the event and the rehearsal schedule, along with an application form can be found at the following links:
