Doug DiBianco has taught clarinet, music appreciation, music literature, Western music history, American music, jazz/rock history, Nonwestern music, music education, and fine arts. He received his bachelors degree in music education from the University of Notre Dame, his masters in musicology and doctorate in music education from the University of Illinois. He appeared as clarinet soloist with the University of Notre Dame Bands and with the University of Illinois Clarinet Choir. He also played Eb clarinet with the University of Illinois Bands Clarinet Choir at the International Clarinet Congresses in Denver and in Paris, France. After teaching private clarinet and conducting clarinet ensembles in Champaign-Urbana, he taught at Northern Illinois University, Western Michigan University, and Parkland College. His music publications include articles on woodwind ensembles and clarinet choir literature.
