Stephanie Nichols joined the Eastern music faculty in the spring of
2007. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree in bassoon performance
with an emphasis on orchestral performance from the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she studied with Timothy S. McGovern.
She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Music Education at
Illinois and expects to graduate in 2009. In addition to her Eastern
duties, Ms. Nichols teaches general and vocal music at Mattoon Middle
School, Mattoon, Illinois and enjoys working with middle school and high
school students in her private studio.
