The EIU Concert Band is an auditioned ensemble of approximately 55 musicians, both music majors and non-majors, dedicated to broadening the artistic level and interest of its members while performing music of artistic and historical significance. As part of its educational and musical mission, the Concert Band serves as the host group for the EIU Middle School Honor Band/Directors Symposium as well as assisting with the EIU Conducting Symposium. The ensemble performs 2 concerts in the Spring Semester. |
