Eastern Music Camp: Show Choir Festival Show Choir Festival is open to students entering the 7th through 12th grades and is designed for those students who wish to “strut their stuff” through song and dance and work with some of the finest directors and choreographers within the state of Illinois. A rigorous daily schedule may include the following: - Physical warm-ups *Private lessons are offered on a selected basis or at an additional cost. Participants will also have an opportunity to perform for family and friends at a final concert on Saturday, the last day of camp.
Sharon has been the EMC Show Choir Festival coordinator for the past several years and has been a member of the EMC Show Choir Camp for over 15 years. She has acquired extensive public school teaching experience and brings with her each year a staff of talented and experienced directors and choreographers. She currently holds the position as the Director of Fine Arts for the Peoria School District She received her Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Arkansas and her Master of Arts in Performance from Illinois State University. She additionally received a degree in Educational Administration from Bradley University. |
