Band camp is open to students entering the 6th through 12th grades. Students will receive excellent instructional guidance from faculty many of whom are from the EIU Department of music or EIU alumni. Students will be given the opportunity to participate in sectionals, master classes, rehearsals and to perform for family and friends at a final concert on Saturday, the last day of camp.
 Dr. Milton Allen serves as both Director
of Bands and Instrumental Division Director at Eastern Illinois University, where he conducts the Wind
Symphony, Collegiate Band, University Band, teaches undergraduate conducting, guides
the graduate wind conducting program and oversees all aspects of
Eastern’s band program.
