Bachelor of Music in Performance

The Music Performance curriculum is designed to develop the skills necessary to enter the music profession or to pursue advanced degrees in performance. All Music Performance Concentrations require a significant number of hours in applied study, the achievement of Junior Standing, and Sophomore, Junior and Senior Recitals. (Composition Concentration students are required to present appropriate projects in lieu of the sophomore, junior and senior recitals.)

Bachelor of Music with Option in Teacher Certification

All Music Education Concentrations share the same Music Core and Professional Course Sequence as offered through the College of Education and Professional Studies. All Concentrations lead to the same certification, with broad-based preparation in all areas of music education. However, each of the following Concentrations has unique professional development experiences, designed to help the prospective teacher achieve his/her professional and musical goals.
