COURSE DESCRIPTION: FCS
4000: (2-0-2) Professional integrative focus of the discipline of family
and consumer sciences and preparation for professional practice.
Prerequisite: C or better in FCS 1000, FCS 2000, FCS
3000 and the completion of 90 hours.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
a. Demonstrate
skills necessary to transition into a professional career.
b. Analyze
public policies related to family and consumer sciences professionals.
c. Develop
a personal philosophy of the integrative nature of the family and consumer
sciences profession.
