It is with excitement and enthusiasm that we bring you greetings from Eastern Illinois University!
We are currently in the midst of planning for the 2012 Black Student Reunion. The reunion will be Friday, November 9 - Sunday, November 11, 2012 in Charleston, IL. To say the least we are planning for this year’s event to be even better than the previous ones. Your participation will be an important factor to ensure our goal becomes a reality. Please join us for this special event.
The Eastern Illinois University campus, Reunion Participants and the Charleston communities look forward to the 3rd Black Student Reunion Black Expo to be held in the North Gym of McAfee Gymnasium on Friday, November 9 - Saturday, November 10, 2012. We are charged with selecting a variety of vendors who provide a wide array of quality merchandise. We are delighted to extend an invitation for you to display your merchandise. This will be an opportunity for you to promote new and or existing products/services, increase African American awareness and loyalty to your products/services and identify fellow vendors to do business with you. Vendor/Exhibitor Fees/Special Request
An assessment of $50.00 per booth table has been established for each assigned space. Special requests such as electricity must be requested by September 28, 2012. All expense relating to electrical installation and any other special equipment will be born by the Vendor/Exhibitor. Electricity is very limited, please minimize if possible.
Vendors/Exhibitors who sell affiliate paraphernalia displaying the “logo” or “shield/escutcheon” of an affiliate organization must be on the approved list of the organization for which items are being sold. No authorization is required for Vendors/Exhibitors selling general merchandise.
Vendors/Exhibitors who sell designer brand/label merchandise displaying the “designer” logo/trademark assume full responsibility for its authenticity and hereby warrant the right/authorization to do so according to law. Eastern Illinois University its employees and agents do not assume responsibility for the sale and authenticity of Vendors/Exhibitors merchandise.
An eight foot table and two chairs will be assigned to each Vendor/Exhibitor in the North Gym of McAfee Gymnasium. Special furniture or backdrops are the responsibility of the Vendor/Exhibitor. Space is very limited and setup will need to be pre-approved by Black Student Reunion Committee personnel at Eastern Illinois University.
