About the Program
All MBA classes offered by Eastern Illinois University are taught by full-time, doctoral qualified faculty from EIU's School of Business that apply and are peer-evaluated to serve as Graduate Faculty based on their engagement in research activities and qualifications to educate graduate students.
In total, there are 11 courses (33 credit hours) in the EIU MBA program. Six core courses are completed by all EIU MBA students. Four concentrations or options are currently offered (see Courses-Degree Options), each with five courses, providing varying levels of customization to meet your career needs.
The program is designed to meet a variety of needs with a quality experience. We offer "rolling" admissions in Charleston and at Parkland, allowing students to begin the program in Fall, Spring, or Summer terms. This includes flexibility to choose the speed that you wish to complete the program, as well as the flexibility in choosing the best location to fit your needs.
