2:00 PM Drum Majors and Student Staff Report to the Band Rehearsal Hall
Sunday, August 11
9:00 AM Drum Line and Guard members report to campus to move-in. Check-in to University Housing for Student Staff, Drum Line, and Guard member only begins. Remember to move-in early, get settled, have lunch with your family, etc.
12:30pm All Leadership meet in Band Rehearsal Hall
1:00pm Drum Line and Guard report to Band Rehearsal Hall (1550 Doudna) for Orientation
2:00pm Sectionals for Drum Line and Guard/Leadership training
5:00pm Dinner, Taylor Dining Center (South Quad)
6:30pm Sectionals/Training continue
9:30pm Uniform Fitting for Staff, Drum Line, Guard
Monday, August 12 "FUELED by SPIRIT"
7:30 AM Breakfast
9:00 AM Full Panther Marching Band reports. Check-in to University Housing for Full Panther MarchingBand begins. Remember to move-in early, get settled, have lunch with your family, and then check-in for Pre-Season Camp! Drum Line & Guard Sectionals continue.
12:00 PM Check-in for Pre-Season Camp begins. Pick up information, merchandise, instruments. Students living in University-owned or privately certifiedhousing should move-in AFTER 9 AM and check-in to Doudna later in the day. Lunch at Taylor Hall for Drum Line & Guard
1:30pm Full Panther Marching Band report to Band Rehearsal Hall
2:30pm Drum/Guard to Sectionals; Winds to fundamentals stations!
4:45pm Student leaders lead way to dinner. Eat with your section! Taylor Dining Center (South Quad)

Tuesday, August 13 "UNRIVALED IN ENERGY"
7:30 AM Breakfast at Taylor Dining
9:00 AM Drill rehearsal at Tarble Field. PMB Fundamentals Rehearsal. Always bring instruments, music, drill, and pencils. Wear protective clothing, sunscreen, water bottles, and proper shoes. NO SANDALS. We will be doing physical warm-ups during this block, so bring a towel if you do not want to sit on the ground. All standing and moving fundamentals the PMB way will be done during this time.
12:00 PM Lunch at Tower Dining
1:30 PM Winds/Percussion/Guard in sectionals.
3:00 PM Full Winds rehearsal in the Large Rehearsal Hall (Drum Line join us at 4pm)
5:00 PM Dinner at Taylor Dining provided by Athletics...eat with people from another sections!
6:30 PM Full Music and Drill Rehearsal on Tarble Field, begin to learn pre-game
9:30 PM Band Dismissed! Rookie Woodwinds fitted for Uniforms
NOTE: Graduate Students will be excused for Placement Exams in Theory which take place at 9am and History at 1pm on Wednesday.
Wednesday, August 14 "BUILT ON TRADITION"

9:00 AM Drill rehearsal at Tarble Field. PMB Fundamentals Rehearsal. Always bring instruments, music, drill, and pencils. Wear protective clothing, sunscreen, water bottles, and proper shoes. NOTE: For the next two days, students will be excused without penalty for: required college meetings, appointments with counselors, working out scheduling problems, registration, auditions, and other academic related responsibilities. Report all anticipated absences for these obligations to both the Graduate Assistant in charge of attendance and Section Leaders. Work, Fraternity and sorority activities are not excused.
Thursday, August 15 "FOREVER EASTERN"

9:00 AM Drill rehearsal at INTRAMURAL Fields 7 and 8 (behind O'Brien Stadium). PMB Fundamentals Rehearsal. Always bring instruments, music, drill, and pencils. Wear protective clothing, sunscreen, water bottles, and proper shoes. NO SANDALS. We will be doing physical warm-ups during this block, so bring a towel if you do not want to sit on the ground. All standing and moving fundamentals the PMB way will be done during this time.

9:00 AM All new students attend EIU Reads Program along with other Prowl activities in the morning. All other students - textbook rental, advising appointments, other meetings, etc.

1:30 PM Full Music and Drill Rehearsal on Tarble Field in under-uniform: Official PMB Shirt, shorts, socks, tennis shoes
3:30 PM "Eastern Sights and Sounds Performance" for all transfer and freshman students

6:00 PM Meet at Tarble Field for warm-up, line-up, March Out...First Night T-Shirt, Khaki shorts, tennis shoes, ball caps. Percussion, Meet Athletics by Old Main at 7:15. We will meet you by Lumpkin and lead everyone in to First Night.
