FACES - Families Accessing Caregiving Educational Support

The purpose of FACES is to provide information to older adults and caregivers of dependent aging parents and/or relatives by assisting them in accessing community services and educational resources designed to aid older adults and their families.  Eastern Illinois University's Master's in Gerontology Program will provide a link between older adults, caregivers, and the aging services network by continually updating our website which provides educational resource information.

In addition to local information and assistance sites, the Senior HelpLine provides information on programs and services and links persons 60 years of age and older and their caregivers to local services.

Provides information packets and phone numbers for local chapters, which in turn will assist with the complete array of medical and social services.

Provides information on how to join the Alzheimer's Associations' identity registration program as a precaution for patients who may wander away from home.
