The Old Presbyterian Church in Mattoon 1900 Located at 21st and Prairie

There are a variety of photos and newspaper clippings available that show the many churches that are in the Mattoon Area.

An example of the material available is this picture of the commotion surrounding a fire. The caption to the reprinted article reads "There was great excitement in the 100 block of S 17th St in 1901 when the Methodist Church caught fire and was destroyed."
